Commercial Access Built Around Defined Outcomes
We start by turning your commercial objective into a clear, workable scope – what we call a Commercial Mandate.
You define what you need to achieve. MILYREX then manages the sourcing, qualification and direct introduction of relevant commercial counterparties.

Qualified Commercial Introduction (QCI)
More than a contact or generic lead: a relevant commercial counterpart with genuine interest in exploring the opportunity, followed by a direct introduction.
How MILYREX Works
Built around results
Traditional business development is often priced around time spent.
MILYREX starts with a defined commercial outcome and puts a meaningful part of its compensation on delivering it.
Engagements typically combine a mandate activation fee with a success fee for completed Qualified Commercial Introductions.
The managed introduction process
From a defined need to a qualified direct introduction.
1. DEFINE
You define the commercial outcome you need – whether reaching a target organisation, finding customers, partners or capabilities in a selected market.
The mandate sets the target profile, geography, QCI criteria and relevant exclusions.
2. SOURCE
MILYREX combines direct sourcing, structured intelligence and the Partner Network to identify relevant counterparties.
3. QUALIFY
Potential counterparties are assessed for commercial relevance, fit with the mandate and genuine interest in exploring the opportunity.
4. CLIENT APPROVAL
Relevant counterparties are presented to the Client for review or approval at the agreed stage, helping avoid duplicate approaches and known exclusions.
5. INTRODUCE
Once relevance and interest are confirmed, MILYREX makes the direct commercial introduction. You then continue the conversation directly.
6. STEP BACK
After the introduction, the Client and counterpart continue the commercial discussion directly. MILYREX steps back unless additional support has been separately agreed.
How MILYREX creates results
MILYREX does not rely on a single database, channel or network. Each mandate combines direct sourcing, structured intelligence and relevant industry relationships.
The MILYREX sourcing engine
Direct sourcing
MILYREX actively researches markets, companies, decision-makers and commercial ecosystems around the defined mandate. We identify potential counterparties, approach them directly where appropriate, and qualify relevance and genuine interest before an introduction is made.
Intelligence layer
MILYREX maintains and continuously expands an intelligence layer across defence, dual-use and related industries: companies, capabilities, markets, relationships and commercial signals.
This helps us search more intelligently, identify less obvious counterparties and improve how opportunities are matched to each mandate.
Curated Partner Network
The Partner Network extends that reach through experienced companies, consultants, market specialists and industry professionals with relevant relationships and local knowledge.
Partners complement MILYREX’s direct sourcing by providing additional routes to relevant counterparties where their access or expertise can create value.
Qualified Commercial Introductions
All three sourcing layers work together under MILYREX management. Only counterparties that meet the agreed mandate criteria and demonstrate genuine interest progress toward a Qualified Commercial Introduction.

Each MILYREX Mandate
– Focuses on a specific company type, customer profile, market, partner type or capability.
– Defines a specific commercial outcome.
– Is delivered through Qualified Commercial Introductions (QCI).
What the Client receives
– A defined commercial mandate and counterpart criteria.
– Managed research, sourcing and relevant direct outreach.
– Qualification of potential counterparties for fit and genuine interest.
– Client review or approval before a direct introduction is completed.
– A direct Qualified Commercial Introduction to the relevant counterpart.
How a mandate is set up
Before work begins, MILYREX and the Client define the commercial objective, target counterpart profile, geography, QCI criteria, relevant exclusions and the commercial terms of the mandate. The scope is specific enough to guide sourcing and qualification, while remaining practical enough to capture relevant opportunities.
What a mandate does not guarantee
A Qualified Commercial Introduction is the agreed commercial output of the mandate. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, MILYREX does not guarantee a minimum number of introductions, meetings, proposals, contracts or downstream sales. After the introduction, the Client and counterpart decide independently whether and how to continue the commercial relationship.
Commercial model
MILYREX engagements typically combine two components: a one-time Activation Fee to set up and launch the mandate, and a Performance Fee for each completed Qualified Commercial Introduction.
This structure aligns incentives from the outset. The Activation Fee covers the work required to prepare and operate the mandate, while the main commercial component is performance-based and payable only when MILYREX delivers the agreed outcome.
Commercial terms are defined separately for each mandate.
How the fees work
Activation Fee
The one-time Activation Fee covers the work required to understand the Client, offering and commercial objective, and to turn these into a clear, workable mandate.

The Client defines the need, target profile, geography, QCI criteria and exclusions, with MILYREX helping to refine the scope and understand the market context required for effective sourcing and qualification.
It also covers preparation and activation of the research, outreach and Partner Network channels used to deliver the mandate.
Performance Fee
The Performance Fee is tied directly to delivery and becomes payable when MILYREX completes an agreed Qualified Commercial Introduction.
The fee for each QCI is agreed before the mandate begins and reflects the target profile, complexity and expected commercial value of the introduction.
Commercial demand we are seeing
These examples reflect recurring commercial needs emerging from current discussions with defence and dual-use companies. Company names and identifying details are omitted to protect confidentiality.

International growth for defence technology
A defence-focused technology company is exploring new market access and supplier relationships across the Baltics, Nordics and Central Europe.
Integration partners for dual-use technology
A technology company is looking to identify relevant platform manufacturers, system integrators and commercial partners for integration of its capabilities into wider solutions.
